How does Admit One Products fulfillment pages
connect with our site?
Your site will contain a link to our secure server. We provide a
template that matches the basic look of your site. The entire transaction
is handled on that server. When the transaction is complete, customers
are returned to your home page.
Can we run this on our web server?
No, we maintain a database, connections to payment processors and
specific application software to carry out the transaction. It is
not practical to implement this on your server at this time. There
are too many issues involving maintenance, backup and security.
Our Webmaster would like this to appear to
be within our site. Can we do that?
If you are using frames, we could provide a blank template to put
it in the frame. However, the more serious issue is that once you
are within a transaction, you do not want the customer to be distracted
by other buttons or links. We have done much research and study
in developing a simple path for the customer to follow to check
out quickly. It is best to complete that path before giving them
back to your site. If your webmaster wants to provide a specific
template to use, that can be done at an additional charge.
How reliable is your server?
Our server is running in a data center in Fremont, California. It
provides a very fast connection to the Internet via multiple carriers.
It is also directly connected with the MAE West, the west coast
Internet exchange point. The data center provides power backup and
the usual support to minimize downtime. In addition, we have a backup
server, which can take over, in the event of a failure in the primary
server.
How is customer data protected?
We manage the entire transaction with a 128 bit secure socket layer
(SSL) connection. This provides security in the transmission of
the data. The sensitive data is directly transmitted to our payment
gateway also via SSL and is encrypted into our database. Your access
to the management reports is also via an SSL connection.
What is the capacity of the system?
We are running this application on a very fast server utilizing
Apache, PHP and MySQL, which are all known to be a very effective
combination for speed and reliability. We have tested the system
above any predicted loads on the system. Our bandwidth is not constrained
at our data center so there are no practical limits to handling
your business.
How complicated is the scanner setup?
The scanners we use are an industrial grade setup. They will arrive
ready to scan. We provide enough redundant equipment to handle any
common failure and a paper event manifest in case of any unresolved
hardware issue.
How does it work?
Depending on your scanner choice, the scanners are loaded with a
program to give feedback to the gate attendant on whether the ticket
is good, already scanned, marked as lost or stolen or counterfeit.
By using this method, all gates have up-to-date information on all
tickets. |
